Dean has played guitar since he was 10 years old.   Growing up in Northeast Edmonton, he was immersed in the blues-rock scene and was playing in the top rooms in Edmonton by the time he was 17.  Dean hosted jams and played in several popular bands in Camrose before moving to Red Deer and starting the Overdue Blues Band with Tracy.
