Marcel Meijers, bass

Marcel is a self-taught bassist and started playing at the age of 12. While in Europe he played in many diverse bands, and since moving to Canada from the Netherlands in 2007, he has continued to do the same.  Marcel is one of Red Deer's most sought-after bassists, as he's not only versatile in a wide range of musical genres, he also knows countless songs, thanks in part to his years of hosting a popular local jam.
